My Cause, My Kicks

At Sage, we encourage our employees to participate in charitable initiatives that give back to their communities. Twice a year, our team can donate their wages for the day to a cause of their choice. We will match their donations and give them a pair of custom kicks to mark the occasion.

Sage Community Days 

Every year, we host a Community Day to help local charities in need through volunteer work. Each branch (Raleigh, Greensboro, Charlotte) chooses a cause within their communities to focus on for the day. We donate our time and energy, working together to clean up, repair, feed, build, or help in any way we can. These moments allow us to foster generosity and compassion within our workforce.

Helping Others Help Others

We encourage our customers to share their good fortune with those in need by providing opportunities for charity. Every month, we give our customers the choice to donate to a worthy cause as part of their memberships. Should they wish to participate, Sage will match their donations in full. This way, we extend the spirit of giving beyond our walls.

Building Our People Up

Sage Day 

Every voice in our business matters, and we want to hear them! Our annual Sage Days are fun, casual occasions for technicians, support staff, and all our employees to get together and discuss how things are going. We brainstorm ways to improve everything from customer service to lunchroom facilities, keeping open communication alive in all our branches.

Book Club and Knowledge Share

You’re never too old to learn something new. Every year, each department chooses one book they think will benefit what we do here at Sage. The team reads the book at their own pace and then meets to share ideas and takeaways. Everyone gets to talk about their book and what they learned in a larger company meeting, helping us grow as a collective team.

Rewarding Our Employees

Every month, we recognize a Sage Shield Honoree from our team. These individuals embody our core values: build, serve, character, and courage. They demonstrate what we stand for and act as shining examples for the rest of our staff. Sage Shield recognition is vital to employee reviews, raises, and promotions.
